We’re Still Collecting Missionary Commitment Forms

In response to the generous financial offerings for missionary support collected throughout 2015 at our stated presbytery meetings, our Mission, Communication and Stewardship committee feels called in 2016 to the goal of 100% of our congregations in supporting a missionary in some way…so far we’re at 51%.  Please consider completing a Missionary Offering Commitment Form and send it to the presbytery office. If you need a form, contact the Presbytery Office.

Men’s Breakfast With Missionary Lynn Kandel

EP Ralph Hawkins is hosting a men’s breakfast on Tuesday, June 28, 7am, at Ryder’s Restaurant outside New Wilmington.  Lynn and his wife Sharon are are PCUSA missionaries serving in South Sudan, and Lynn does interesting and important construction and logistical work with our Presbyterian partners in that struggling nation.  If you care about ministry and are a hands-on kind of guy, join us for breakfast and learn more about the work being done of our behalf in Africa.  A $20 suggested donation buys breakfast, with the balance given as a donation to Lynn’s missionary funding through the Presbyterian Church (USA).
