Recently Served Christ in the Republic of South Sudan
“In a place where evil seemed triumphant, one person’s goodness had saved my life, had given me hope in a place where there was none.” This quote is from a man who was interned in a WWII concentration camp as a boy. A girl handed him an apple through the fence and repeated the gesture for several days. Her small act of kindness gave him hope to live. Sharon, a Community Health Evangelism facilitator, seeks to extend a ray of hope. “Working with South Sudanese partners, we can participate in God’s plans and build a future in a land that has been denied hope for so long,” Sharon says.
NOTE: Sharon has ended her service with the PC(USA). Thank you for your support of her ministry.
