Rev. Dr. Richard and Marilyn Hansen

Serving Christ together in Ethiopia

Rich is professor of systematic theology at the Ethiopian Graduate School of Theology, an institution that prepares leaders for the Ethiopian church and society.  It was founded in 1997 by the Ethiopian Evangelical Church Mekane Yesus (EECMY), the Ethiopian Kale Heywet Church (EKHC), and the Evangelical Churches Fellowship of Ethiopia (ECFE).  In addition to theology, the school also has programs in leadership and management and HIV/AIDS ministry that are taught from a Christian perspective.  Marilyn is developing relationships with and ministering to Ethiopians and expatriates and is finding a variety of ways to use her gifts.  The Hansens have served in Ethiopia since August 2010.

NOTE: The Hansens ended their service in Ethiopia in the summer of 2014.  Thank you for your support of their ministry.
