Serving Christ in South Sudan
Leisa, a mission co-worker since 1984, says her call to mission “is still afresh and as strong as ever.” After working in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Lesotho and Zimbabwe, she began teaching at the Presbyterian Teacher Training College in Cameroon in 2004. She also served at a related secondary school. Leisa has written and evaluated curriculum, developed a school and community computer program, lectured at the seminary level and coached a gymnastics team. Leisa has been serving in South Sudan since 2013. “More importantly, I have served as your representative, your mission co-worker, and the embodiment of your desire to share the good news of Jesus Christ in every corner of the earth,” she says.
