Director of Congregational Support
Rev. Nathan Leslie (cell: 724-651-5333)
Rev. Nathan Leslie grew up within the bounds of the Presbytery of Shenango, having been raised within one of our congregations. He is a graduate of Grove City College and Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. While preparing for ordination within the presbytery, Nathan was invited to serve the Bessemer Church as a student pastor. After three years, he was ordained and installed to serve the Bessemer congregation full-time, and now has served there for a total of fifteen years.
Nathan is married to Mary Kay, and they have two young sons: Carson and Grayson. Nathan enjoys spending time with his family, and in his spare time enjoys music, technology, model trains, rail-fanning, home repair projects, football, and other artistic/creative ventures. He and his family enjoy traveling and camping (or more accurately “clamping”) with their travel trailer.
In addition to his pastorate at the Bessemer Church, Nathan has also been very active in the Bessemer community. He and the congregation were instrumental in starting the Mohawk Coffee House (MoCo House) ministry in town. Nathan has also served as a chaplain to the Bessemer Police Department, was elected a member of the borough council, and now serves as mayor.
As Director of Congregational Support, Nathan is here to help and advocate for the ministry of our congregations. In addition to help in times of discernment and conflict, Nathan welcomes opportunities to brainstorm new and fresh ideas for ministry, bring congregations together for shared ventures, and provide resources to help congregations fulfill Christ’s mission for them.
Director of Pastoral Support
Rev. Michael Spicuzza (cell: 412-559-3525)
Michael Spicuzza began serving as the director of pastoral support in June 2021 when the “Re-imagining” vision for leadership became a reality. He has been a part of Shenango Presbytery since 2011, serving Third Presbyterian Church in New Castle from 2011-2014. He began serving as a co-pastor at Clen-Moore Presbyterian Church in New Castle in July 2018.
Michael has been married to his wife, Christine, since 2011. Together they have three youngsters – a daughter named Josie, a son named Luke, and a son named Julian. They reside in New Wilmington.
In his spare time, you can find Michael hunting, doing construction, turning wrenches in his garage, or pretending to be a farmer at the Apple Castle. Growing up in the Pittsburgh area, he’s a fan of all things Pittsburgh, but is most faithful to college football and the Pitt Panthers.
Director of Operations
Rev. Glenn Hink (office: 724-981-2211 ext. 2)
Glenn grew up in the Pacific Northwest, and received his M. Div. and D. Min. from Union Seminary in Richmond, VA. He has served as pastor at Bell Memorial Presbyterian Church, and 1st Presbyterian Church of Sharon. He has 3 married children, and 4 grandsons. He knows he’s blessed to have them all local. Glenn enjoys jazz, coffee, symphony, ballet, travel, motorcycling, off roading in the mountains, reading books on theology and science, movies, eating out, and scotch.
Director of Presbytery Advancement
Rev. Beth Creekpaum (cell: 724-977-3013)
Beth Creekpaum is the pastor of the Sandy Lake congregation in North Mercer County where she has served for 11 years. She is a graduate of Pittsburgh Theological Seminary and currently is studying Leadership and Change in the church at Fuller Theological Seminary under the Rev. Dr. Tod Bolsinger, where she will, God willing, receive a DMIN in the near future. This DMIN coursework has prepared Beth to be the Director of Presbytery Advancement as Shenango Presbytery tries to lead churches into imaginative experimentation of what “church” needs to look like in order to thrive in our local communities in the 21st century.
In addition to being pastor, student, and director of presbytery advancement, Beth is mom to Sam (7), David (5), and Lydia (3). She is able to do all these different things thanks to her husband John’s help who is also a pastor in the presbytery but has stayed home with their kids for the last 5 years.

Elder John C. Reed
John is a life-long member of the First Presbyterian Church of Sharon and over the years has been a Sunday school teacher, usher, deacon, auditor, and elder. He currently serves on several committees, is chair of their Operations Team and is their Clerk of Session.
John is a veteran of the US Army, and returned to practicing law after retiring as a judge of the Mercer County Court of Common Pleas. John and his wife, Virginia, have four children and ten grandchildren.
