The Presbytery Office is still missing annual report forms from Bethlehem, Center (GC), Covenant, 1st Greenville, Hadley, Harlansburg, Hillside, Kennard, Lebanon, Milledgeville, Moravia, Neshannock (NC), North Liberty, and Northminster.
Please Pray for the Sudan Presbyterian Evangelical Church
The annual meetings of the Synod and General Assembly of the Sudan Presbyterian Evangelical Church will be held in the next two weeks. Please pray for them. We have asked our Sudanese friends to pray for the Presbytery meetings in the US.
Action that you can take on the Global Food Crisis – Sudan
The first weekend of each month this year will be dedicated to a fast for global hunger. The first will be for the Sudan on February 27 – March 1. You can learn more about this at http://www.pcusa.org/foodcrisis/archive/march/index.htm.

The 6th Annual Dr. J. Calvin Rose Memorial Seminar – Westminster College
Monday, March 2, 2009 “Theology of John Calvin” will be presented in a panel discussion format featuring Rev. Glenn Hink, Rev. Bill Crooks, & Rev. Bob McCreight. The seminar will be presented by Rev. Dr. Charles Partee, the P.C. Rossin Professor of Church History at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. Advance registration fee of $7.00 (includes breakfast and lunch) is due by February 23, 2009 to Westminster College Chapel Office, 319 S. Market Street, Box 66, New Wilmington, PA 16172.

Group Publishing VBS Training Event at North Liberty
North Liberty Presbyterian Church, Grove City will be hosting Group Publishing’s only Pennsylvania Networking/Training Party for Holy Land Adventure Bible School Rome! You can check the program out without making a commitment, gather ideas and make plans to share props and supplies. A representative from Group will lead the “party” on March 21st from 9 AM – NOON. $25 for the 1st attendee, $10 for each additional person from the same church. Lawrence County Habitat Needs Your Help
There is a family in need, land available, and volunteers ready, but funds are needed. Free Christian Education Help
Rev. Dr. Beverly Cushman, Director of the Christian Education program at Westminster College is looking for congregations who would be interested in working with Christian Education students in their three year internship. Interns work with the same congregation over the three year period, with specific projects that reflect the classes they are taking. The internship is non-stipendiary. Ziti Dinner at Westfield
The youth group at Westfield Church is hosting a ziti dinner on Saturday, March 7, at 6:00 PM. Menu includes baked ziti, green salad, and bread, served family-style, with choice of beverage and dessert. $7.00 per person, children 10 and under are free. Proceeds benefit the group’s summer mission trip to Mexico in June.
