Good News at Enon Church
The session at Enon began hosting community meals once a week. Church members are encouraged to sit with people they “don’t know”. Volunteers in the congregation have been offering to help. At the first meal in February, 62 people were served with about a third being take-outs. Each week the total numbers have increased so that the last Thursday in February the total served was 104. There are no donation baskets or any other indicator that something is desired from the dinner guests. Some have sought out members and quietly made donations.
