PW Fall Gathering – Saturday, October 17

Learn something new about Communication at PW Fall Gathering! Check out the list of workshops and choose two to attend at Clen-Moore Presbyterian Church on Saturday, October 17, 2009. Join us from 9 AM – 3 PM for a day of worship, learning and fellowship. Luncheon cost is $6. Registration deadline is October 12. Contact Nancy McMillan at 724-336-5623 for more information.

Internet Teacher-Training Available for Presbyterians!
If your church has Internet access and if you would like to know more about the new teacher-training program, “Opening Doors to Discipleship.com” Margaret Trautman will be happy to come to your church and introduce your teachers to the program. Contact her at the Presbytery Office.

Hungarian Dinner at Bethlehem

In conjunction with their 105th Birthday, the Bethlehem Presbyterian Church will be holding a Hungarian Dinner on Sunday, October 18, 2009 from Noon – 2:00 PM. The menu includes: Pigs in the blanket, Sausage, Green Beans, Mashed Potatoes, Buttered bread, Cake, Coffee and Tea. Adults $8.00; Children (under 6) $4.00. Presbyterian Men
There is a Presbyterian Men’s group in the Synod of the Trinity (PA & WV) and they are having their annual retreat in Bedford, PA on October 10.http://www.syntrinity.org/home/good_stories/Presbyterian_Men/PresbyMen_2009.htm.

Xerox 5328 Copier Available
The Presbytery Office is looking to get rid of a 9+ yr. old black/white copier. It is good for small quantities of copies per month (100 or fewer single-sided). Tabletop design – stand available too. As is. The Presbytery will not provide any follow-up assistance and makes no promises about how long it will last. No deliveries – you must come to pick it up.
