Videos from The Fellowship of Presbyterians – Minneapolis

One of the best ways to get a sense of the vision of the Fellowship is through the videos of the plenary speakers.  This linkhttp://vimeo.com/user8497691/videos/sort:date will connect you to those.  All are important, but I would suggest especially Ken Bailey, Richard Mouw, and Jim Singleton.  –David Dawson

“Sampler” Hymnal from Pastor Retreat

Pam Maloney handed out copies of the “Sampler” of the new hymnal to participants at the Pastor Retreat last week.  She has since found out that Louisville has run out of copies of the sampler and will not print any more.  If you would like to use music from the “Sampler”, contact David Eicher, Hymnal Editor, at 502-569-5915 or at deicher@presbypub.com to see if permission can be given to copy music from the “Sampler” through May 2012.  If your church has a CCLI license or OneLicense.net license, you MAY be able to copy some of those songs using that license.
God Has a Vision for Your Church!
On Saturday, October 22 from 9AM to Noon (followed by lunch) at the New Wilmington Presbyterian Church, you can discover how your church can better tune into what God is doing in the world today, take home “tools” you can use, and meet others with a shared vision.  Bring a group from your church!  Please RSVP to the Presbytery Office.  This workshop is a FREE event sponsored by the MCS Committee.
