25 Christians Killed in Cairo Demonstration…Please Pray for Egypt this Sunday
These are very difficult times for our Christian friends in Egypt. Just last week we were blessed by a visit from Dr. Emad Philabbos who spoke in several places about the problems with church burnings. Imagine What God’s Dream For the Church Is.
Come Saturday, October 22, from 9 AM to NOON, to the New Wilmington Presbyterian Church as we explore this idea. Our guest worship leader is from a small church in Ohio, much like many of our Shenango churches. her church is creating an environment: where all ages in the church actively interact; where local community churches work and pray together and reach out to others including non-believers in their midst; where folks are engaging with what God is about even to the ends of the earth!
In the second hour, Denise Sciuto will share a nuts and bolts workshop aimed at addressing God’s vision for YOUR church followed by an opportunity to interact with each other and representatives with displays who can help us put these ideas into action.
If you can stay for lunch, we will have opportunities to share more informally.
