Fellowship of Presbyterians
The Fellowship of Presbyterians has released their theological and church governance plans, http://www.fellowship-pres.org/ anticipating the meeting in Orlando on January 18-20. If you are planning to attend, please make this known to Dave Dawson so that we can keep in touch. Council has asked Amy Na (Moderator), Glenn Hink (moderator of Council), Jim Latta, Ralph Hawkins, and Dave Dawson to attend.

Bethlehem Blvd. at Faith Presbyterian Church
Faith Presbyterian Church will present Bethlehem Blvd. on Sunday, December 18 from 4-8 PM. Come celebrate the joy of Christmas by wandering the streets of ancient day Bethlehem on the day when Jesus was born. Visit the Synagogue, a Jewish Home, a Marketplace, and conclude your night by visiting the Holy Family in a live nativity. Self-guided tours run continually from 4-8 PM and take approx. 1 hour to complete. Admission is FREE!
Community Advent Luncheon
The 14th Annual Community Advent Luncheon, hosted by First Presbyterian Church of New Castle, will be held Wednesday, December 14 at 12 noon. Speaker is Rev. Nathan Loudon. $5.00 donation for lunch. The event is sponsored by the Downtown New Castle Churches: First Christian Church; Mary, Mother of Hope Parish, and 1st Presbyterian. Advent Taize Service
First Presbyterian Church in Sharon is hosting the Notre Dame Folk Group on Sunday evening, December 11th at 7:00 PM as they lead an Advent Taize worship service. This lovely, musical, candlelit service is quiet, reflective, prayerful, and a perfect way to welcome the One who comes to us. {The Notre Dame Folk Group also leads the Taize services at Villa Maria.} The service is free and open to the public. A time of refreshments and fellowship will follow the service.
Two Holiday Events at Covenant
Covenant Presbyterian Church in Sharon will host a Down Home Christmas on Wednesday, December 7th at 7:00 PM. Join them for an evening of friendship, singing and acoustic music. On Sunday, December 18th at 7 PM they will hold their Annual Christmas Cantata – a 75 voice community choir and a 20 piece orchestra will perform Tom Fettke’s cantata “The Glory of the Lord”. Nursery care will be available.

ROOT International needs your help
ROOT International is being blessed with 40,000 lbs. of rice for Mexico. They need help raising $5,000 before Christmas. The food will go to feed children and the elderly, and will be distributed among dining facilities, orphanages, and schools. They are partnering with other groups, and prayers are needed for protection over the food and for the workers, pastors, and ministry workers who will distribute the food.
