Prayer Request from Bud Green
I would like the churches of Shenango to join with me in praying that the Lord would move the hearts and spirits of His people in helping me find someone who would literally give the gift of life in the form of being a live kidney donor for me. The CORE website outlines what is necessary to donate a kidney, but the same blood type is the first place to begin. Over the age of 18 is necessary. I am A-positive, making me a universal donor and recipient. God bless our common ministry of prayer together. Sincerely in Christ, Bud Green and side-kick Albert (my new guide dog).
An Informational Gathering
The Neshannock & Eastbrook Presbyterian Churches are joining together to present an informational gathering on Saturday, May 12th at 6:00 PM at the Neshannock Presbyterian Church, 154 Fairground Rd; New Castle, Pa. Pastor Jason Schepp will lead the discussion, everyone is welcome to attend.
The New Testament and Reformed Theology Study Group will be discussing eschatology, end times, beginning Wednesday, April 25th. Our primary text is 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18. We meet in the morning at Westminster College under the leadership of Professor Kang Na. Contact Aaron Christy for more information at dyfmclenmoore@gmail.com. All are invited, no long-term commitment is necessary.
The Right Now, Right Here Missional Project
How are you and your congregation doing with the emerging focus of ministry outside the doors of your church? building relationships with people who don’t go to church? building relationships with people who have questions about Jesus, or who don’t know about Jesus at all? How would you like to do better? A missional experiment is beginning in Shenango Presbytery, right here, right now. Interested pastors, elder, mission team representatives, etc. have begun discussions and planning to have Rev. Dr. Angel De La Cruz work as an outreach ministry in our Presbytery. If you would like to be part of this missional experiment come to the next meeting on Sunday, June 3rd at 6:00 PM at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Mercer, PA.
