The annual McClure Lectures will feature Dr. Anne-Marie Kool, Professor of Missiology at Karoli Gaspar University of the Reformed Church in Budapest, Hungary. You are invited to these free lectures entitled, “European Churches’ Perspectives on Mission Among the Roma People” September 24-25, 2012 at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. Mission Adventure
MISSION ADVENTURE is looking for volunteers for a work trip to WORLD VISION – APPALACHIA in Philippi, West Virginia Sunday, September 16, 2012 (depart in the afternoon) to Friday, September 21, 2012. The mission work trip will have work projects out in the community doing home improvements/repairs. OR work at the WorldVision Warehouse – sorting and packing clothes or work in the materials warehouse. Carpooling: leave Sunday afternoon (less than 3-1/2 hour drive); Lodging: Philippi Inn (ie. Super 8); Meals: Breakfast-self-pay next door to Inn, Lunch- provided (bagged lunch), Dinner- self-pay at local establishments. Cost: $300.00 per person double-occupancy (this includes a $125.00 per person volunteer fee to WorldVision for work project materials). 39th Annual Church Basement Sale will be held at Enon Presbyterian Church, 230 Church Street, Enon Valley, PA 16120 on September 13, 14, 15 from 9 AM to 3 PM dailly.
