Correction Letter Has Been Sent on 2013 Per Capita

Wee Kirk at Laurelville Conference Center

Elder Training is Coming to Greenville!

The Regional Elder Training (Elder 101) is coming to First Presbyterian, Greenville on Sunday, October 28th from 6-8 PM.  This is a great training event for the whole Session or for the up-and-coming elder you just elected.  Rev. Special Chapel to Honor and Celebrate America’s Veterans

Join us on Friday, November 9th at 11:40 AM in Orr Auditorium, Westminster College, as we honor and celebrate our veterans with a concert of patriotic music from the Westminster Wind Ensemble and Combined Choirs, and special guest speaker, Iraq Veteran, SFC Raymond Corvino, HHB 1-107 FA.  Admission is Free.

Mortgage Burning at Faith Presbyterian Church

This Sunday, October 28th, Faith Church will continue its 175th Anniversary Celebration by having a mortgage burning ceremony during the 11:00am morning worship.   Presbytery Executive, the Rev. David Dawson; Ken Shiderly Sr. and Ken Shiderly Jr. of Shiderly Construction Company, and a representative from Greenville Savings Bank will be our special guests.  Interested members of the Presbytery are invited to join us for the event.

Spaghetti Dinner at Northminster

Semi-Annual Spaghetti Dinner on Saturday, November 3rd from 4:30 – 7:00 PM.  Take-out is available!  Tickets are $8 for adults, $3 for children (ages 3-10), ages 2 and under FREE.  Dinner includes drink, salad, bread, spaghetti, meatballs, and dessert.

Spaghetti Dinner at Clen-Moore

Thursday, October 25th from 4:30 – 6:30 PM.  Adults-$8.00, Children 5-10-$4.00, under 5-FREE, or Family-$20.00.  Proceeds to benefit Health Ministries and purchase of an AED.

Benefit Spaghetti Dinner at Leesburg

Benefit dinner for Veronica (Rannard) Reiber, a Pulaski native and Wilmington High graduate who was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer.   Saturday, October 27 from 4-7 PM.  Adults $8.00, Children (4012) $4.00, children 3 and under FREE.  For ticket information, contact the church at 724-748-4670.  All proceeds from the dinner and Chinese auction will be used to pay non-covered medical bills, childcare and support for the family during unpaid hardship leave to allow her husband Greg (a Lance Corporal in the US Marine Corps) to assist in Veronica’s treatment and their infant son Gabriel’s care.
