EP Activity This Month
Our Executive Presbyter, Ralph Hawkins, will be preaching at Rich Hill (Aug 7), Highland (Aug 14), Jackson Center (Aug 21), and Word Centered (Aug 28). Ralph welcomes opportunities to preach or bring greetings during a worship service, as well as opportunities to visit Session and Deacon meetings. Cooking With a Mission
You are invited to join a five-week course in gastronomic delights starting Monday, September 19th and running each Monday through October 17th from 5;30 – 8:30 PM at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Mercer. This hands-on class will feature a full array of menu items and tasting each evening led by instructor, local chef Mark Arnold. The cost of $200 per person will go to support the mission work sponsored by Shenango Presbytery, and it is hoped we will that a “guest chef” or two from among the missionaries our presbytery supports. Cookie Sale
Shenango Presbyterian SeniorCare will hold a fund-raiser bake sale on Friday, August 5th from 9 AM – 3 PM again this year to assist with the SeniorCare Fund, previously known as the benevolent fund, for our residents. Donations of cookies are welcome and can be dropped off at SPSC the day before the sale in disposable containers suitable for display.
