The Presbytery Office changed to a new web host last week, and we are having some publishing issues with our site. Pages are there, then they disappear. We appreciate your patience as we work through these issues.

Churches Giving “Up” in 2009
The churches of Shenango Presbytery gave $101,522 for Presbytery mission (Camping Association, Shenango SeniorCare, variety of Presbytery programs) in 2009. This is a 14.6% increase over 2008. Thank you for your faithful support of projects designed to help all of our churches.
You Can Still Register for LeaderFest
The Presbytery Office is still accepting registrations until Friday for LeaderFest, happening on Saturday at Westminster College (walk-ins are also welcome on Saturday – you can register at the door). Registrations are $15.00 each (includes lunch).
Doug Hughes’ (Third Church, New Castle) mother died last week. The service will be in Virginia later this week.
Treasurers Please Note:
Please make sure that all checks mailed to the Presbytery Office are made payable to “The Presbytery of Shenango”. Our banks will not accept checks made payable to “Presbyterian Mission”, “Missions of the Presbyterian Church”, or other variations that we have been receiving from numerous churches lately.
Sudan Travelers Leave on January 20…Please Pray for Them
Their visas have not come through yet (which is a regular problem with travel to the Sudan) so your prayers and those of your congregation on the Sundays of January are deeply appreciated. These folks are part of a group of 11 and they look forward to reporting back about our church partners in the Sudan. Jim Leuenberger (Bethany), Miriam Gwin (Mt. Jackson), Phyllis Buck (Jamestown), Derek Longbrake (Bell Memorial), Tom Kaufman (Third, New Castle), Betsy Barr (Mt. Jackson).
